The Bicyclist and Pedestrian Advisory Commission voted unanimously during its June 12, 2025, meeting to support this resolution.
This resolution would prevent the delays that often result from needing to go to City Council for this approval, which approval can take over one month to obtain.
Please fast-track these dollars. In the Bushrod neighborhood I find it very scary to cross the street at intersections with no crosswalks, especially with my baby in her stroller. I would love to see more pedestrian walk/don't walk signals on Shattuck Avenue north of 55th street.
