Recommendation: Adopt A Resolution Proclaiming And Honoring The Creation Of The Mai Tai In The City Of Oakland And Officially Designating The Mai Tai As The Official Cocktail Of Oakland
Why on earth does Oakland need to have a designated cocktail. There are far more pressing issues that need the City Council attention. Spending time on nonsense while the sky is falling in Oakland only shows that the City Council is so out of touch with the taxpaying struggling citizenry explains why taxpayers can't get any services for their tax dollars. NO! But can get a Mai Tai. No wonder people who love Oakland are leaving. The City is a freaking mess and you have time for cocktails. This explains very clearly why nobody goes to the office to actually work, no city departments have any visible employees, and calls all go to voicemail, everybody's having a Mai Tai. Cheers!
