Recommendation: Adopt A Resolution Recognizing Fentanyl As A Public Health Crisis
A recommended addition would require all City positions with a requirement of being CPR or first aid certified, should also be required to take the free 2 hr online training course.
Also, this is so important that all homeless Interventions program service providers and operators (HHAP) funded by the City of Oakland be advised to have at least 1 person working per shift, complete a training or participate in this free two hour online critical life-saving drug prevention and overdose rescue skill training since they're serving the most at risk and vulnerable.
