The community around Parker Elementary has come together as a largely BIPOC community and shown how they can thrive. The community, regardless of plans to close the school, has provided community programs, meals, and a system in which ALL children can thrive. It would seem this community has produced a great deal of evidence as to why they should be allowed to continue operating. With, or without the help of the city. If Oakland us unwilling to acknowledge their existence, they can at the very least not deprive the community of this opportunity to grow and shine. Continuing with the removal of community members from the school is an atrocious act that must be stopped. Allows these Americans to live, learn, and be happy.
