    We need to keep this funding in Oakland and get affordable housing built sooner rather than later. The most basic answer to the current crisis of homelessness is to build more housing.

    EBALDC is a proven community partner with a nearly 50-year track record in Oakland.

    We need to keep this moving. As we all know, endless delays can effectively kill projects. The staff recommends it, and I support it.
