    I have known Omar Farmer for several years as an initiator of the group Oakland Neighbors Inspiring Trust, and highly recommend him to be appointed to this commission. Omar is hard-working, dedicated to improving the lives of the people in his community, and acts with integrity, consciousness and care. He would bring a great presence to the Oversight Commission, and I'm grateful that he is volunteering his precious time!
