Affordable housing impact fees are currently not being paid. In addition 20% affordable to persons at 50 or 60% of AMI. The AMI for Oakland is $79,000. for one person! The developers are getting tax credits from the State of California therefore they are not loosing any monies. They map out their 20% where people of very very low income (HUD) only get one unit or in a designate area of the construction. Monitor the fees and their distribution is necessary.
