My name is Ammar, I'm the owner of Jalisco Market store in deep east Oakland and I am committed to serving the needs of my community, that’s why I organize with the Saba Grocers Initiative. The SSB Tax revenue has helped Saba’s corner store owners to begin to transform our stores into community stores by uplifting healthy products and community wellness. Continued funding will help us strengthen and expand this work. We face systemic barriers to providing affordable healthy foods . continued SSB Tax revenue funding will help alleviate some of these barriers and help to build healthy options for my store and corner stores across Oakland. please approve item 2.8 on the consent calendar date 03/02/2021
