Hello, As an Oakland resident and a member of CBE, Communities for a Better Environment, I want to ask that the leader of Rules and Legislation Committee uphold the highest standards regarding the public's right to have a system and process in place for the proposed selling of public land at the Coliseum that is transparent. Going forward there should be no more closed door meetings until the end of the process. The public must be kept informed every step of the way. We do not want a repeat of the non transparent back room deal atmosphere that occurred with the County and the way they sold our land. We do not want the land sold. Corporate interests are beholden to wall street and shareholders. They do not have the City of Oakland's best interest at heart. Profit is their bottom line and we must continue to own our land. We cannot give thjs source of generational wealth away. Thank you
