I support Prop. 17 because 50,000 Californians on parole deserve to have a say in the policies that affect their daily lives

I support Prop. 17 because California should live up to its ideals and not fall behind 20 states that do not prevent people on community supervision from voting

I support Prop. 17 because civic engagement supports people returning home and reduces recidivism

Please pass this. It is only fair for people ( citizens ) who have served their time be allowed to vote. It is critical and essential in a democracy that everyone has a chance to vote. Part of the success of reentry is having people become involved and connected with their community. How can they feel part of their community if they are not allowed to vote? Please support Prop 17 so we can have our community members fully engaged in positive ways.
