The original Article 1, Raiders Lease & Terms. Signed August 1995.
Original Deal had payments due on Raiders End for Moving. 15yr Bond Deal.
Expires 2011. As an Original PSL Holder that is what I signed up for...
Original PSL DEAL was 10 Yrs 96~2005. As a PSL holder I had expected we would
be paying for PSL's transitioning to new stadium.
The County, JPA, & City Unilaterally decided to redo the Deal in 1997...
Claim poor performance / add Warriors Refurbish.
Still pay the same $40Mil Yearly payment for Stadium.
BTW ridiculous bond rates>1997
Point is... There is NO WAY Al would have signed on to that...
If he did, The Raiders would NOT have been eligible to move in 2011.
There would be no Article 3, 4, 5, & The 6th... Of the Lease Agreement.
Remember Councilman Gallo, You coined "If Mark Davis doesn't like terms, I would be happy to show him the Door".
