I oppose excessive Development Costs. In all projects, but particularlly when as Stated that these projects will be the First Affordable Housing Project in the Country where you can argue... On the Low end $1,000.00 per Square Foot. And at the High end $2 Million Dollar 3 Bedroom Homes. The Camino 23 Project @ $640K per Bedroom x 3... Camino23 is at $2Million per residence. All of these Development Costs are outrageous.
At least Energy efficiency. Fuel Cell Technology. What makes any Camino32 apartment compete with now the devalued SF Millennium Tower Apartments.
BuildZig is Offering at $700K, 3 Bedroom Luxury Homes, Views, within walking distance of Alameda @ 29th in Oakland. None of these projects will approach this Quality... Or for that matter Luxury & Style.
So as Luxury Apartments they cost 2x more than they would sell for. There is NOTHING affordable here...
