However, it is very sad that many applicants, according to interaction and many online job forums of OPD, are proceeding to apply with other departments due to the fact there is no communication and updated status of their application as peace officers. There should be more communication as to when they anticipate to have an academy, a place where more information other than the file is pending can be provided, and more interaction or ocassional updates from personnel management/backgrounds such as delays in the hiring process or other reasons for delays.
