The Rockridge Community Planning Council (RCPC) will be submitting a letter tomorrow expressing its qualified support for this proposal. RCPC generally supports the concept of "right sized" parking requirements. However RCPC is concerned about how that right size will be determined in different areas, particularly areas, such as around the Rockridge BART Station and College Ave., where on-street parking capacity is already stressed and Residential Permit Parking zones have been established. The letter will explain RCPC's concerns and suggest some ways of addressing them in the ordinance.

Respectfully, Stuart M. Flashman, Chair, RCPC Board of Directors
