East Bay Express has made it public that the City Attorney reported to council that the sale was in violation of the Surplus Land Act. Someone has legal grounds to start a lawsuit with the city. This is not good governance. Please consider reopening the RFP for the 12th Street Remainder Parcel.

The RFP should be reopened to include affordable housing developers
